Water Moon 2004
「Water Moon 2004」は、月をイメージした映像と水をイメージした映像の二種類が、二枚の円形のスクリー ンを透過して床で重なり映る。床にはアクリルプールが置いてあり、そのプールには15秒間隔で水滴が落ちている。実際には。プールの波紋と月と水のイメー ジ映像が重なって見える。観客の反応を観察して見ると、面白がっている幾つかの現象がわかる。一つは、アクリルプールに水滴が落ち波紋が拡がる瞬間である。二つ目は、投射されている月と水の映像がアクリルプールの波紋と重なることである。三つ目は、身体オブジェがアクリルプールの下に居るときである。また、この作品は、観る人の視点によって、さまざまな体験の仕方があることも確認した。この作品は、単なるインスタレーションに留まらず、素朴なインターラ クティブの要素を孕み持っていると感じた。

2004年イスタンブールのAKBank Culture Art Centerで、グループ展があり「Water Moon2004.9」を展示した。この作品は「Water Moon1999-2004」の延長線上で考えているので構造的にも似ている。違うところといえば、チエシメの水を水滴に使い、ボスポラス海峡の海水を月のサイクルを表す写真の上に置いたことである。
2004年～2005年にかけて、テヘラン現代美術館で、グループ展があり、「Water Moon」「Difference」「Memory of Water」「Peek」の4 点の作品を展示した。その中の「Water Moon」は、構造的には「Water Moon 2004」「Water Moon 2004.9」と似ているのだが、月と水のイメージ映像が重なるところに、100個のコップを置きカイワレ大根を発芽するようにしたところが違う。日々成長してくるカイワレ大根を置いたことである。

2000年3月4日/7日/8日の3日間、Gallery-128でFFとREWバージョンのパフォーマンスを行う。結果は好評だった。
4日～11日まではインスタレーションの展示。

フィールドワーク 2000年3月18日（ニューヨーク)
WaterMoonは地球に一番近い星です。その星で五感を全開したクリエーター達が（身体・映像・音楽・美術）融合し、共創しながらドラマを醸し出します。
1）WaterMoonに耳を傾けると、鼓動の響きがとても良く聞き取れます。
2）WaterMoonに鼻を近付けると、土地にしみ込む雨の臭いがします。
3）WaterMoonを見つめると、水しぶきが飛んできます。
4）WaterMoonに口付けすると、・・・まだ解りません。
Water Moon:Water Moon is a virtual planet simulating current problems of the earth. The relationship between the nature and our body is about to break down toward next millenium. And this phenomena motivates us to give more awareness to our daily sense of reality. Shut up by a transparent ballon, a dancer struggles to find out the solution to break free from her own perceptible world to unknown. Throughout the perfprmance. four characteristics of dance are represented. The first dance foucuses on projecting a fetus like total sensibility of our body. Absorbing lights and sounds with the whole body, a dance seeks desparately to grasp the sensation of an exterior world. The second dance shows the process of how one starts to perceive the sense of time.
We already acknowledged that time is an accumulation of the moment, but is it true? May be we are capable of perceiving time differently. The third dance aims to project the movement using bodies of two dancers. By mixing the movement and the stillness created by two dancers. it emphasize the movement itself more and the residue of action will more likely to appear in our mind, The last dance represents our new sense of body. We are able to feel confidence, independence, and stability throughout the body of performer. Water moon is a collaborative performance piece whlch includes dance, visual art, set design, and music with a full spirit. After we experience this performance, we are for certain to attain a new contour of our body. (Curator Hideki Kawahara)

1999年6月、Water Monnは、不動まゆうとヒグマ春夫のプロジェクトとして、フィールドワークを開始した。
九十九里浜海岸、野川公園、多摩川河川、奥多摩の川原、御宿海岸、ニューヨーク等通算45回行う。
1999年 7月パレット・くもじ 沖縄公演。 8月ギャラリー無寸草 インスタレーションとパフォーマンス公演。 11月キッドアイラックアートホール 東京公演。
2000年 3月Gallery-128 ニューヨーク公演。 9月WENZスタジオ公演。 2000年9月のWENZ公演を最後に、Water Moonのパフォーマンスに終止符を打ち、「Water Moon」のインスタレーションを追求することになる。
